Hello - I'm Arthur.

I am an engineer/scientist based in Atlanta, GA.

I was previously CTO (now serving as Technical Advisor) at SkinIO (opens in a new tab) - a healthcare software company aiming to make skin cancer screening easy and accessible for everyone. I started working at SkinIO in 2018 leading our data science and machine learning development peforming fundamental research and developing software tools to track and analyze your skin. I enjoy working for mission-driven companies and it has been amazing to see the impact SkinIO has had on our users :

The app found 2 spots with melanoma - stage 1 on the top of my head and stage 0 on my neck. I went to my dermatologist and had it all taken care of. I can't thank you enough!

I completed my PhD in Neuroscience at Emory Univeristy in the Computational Neuroscience Lab. My graduate and post-doctoral research as aimed at understanding how the brain makes decisions. Towards this effort, I combined advanced eletrophsyiology and optical imaging technologies to examine brain activity across multiple time and spatial scales during behavior.
